Happy Saturday 2023

🇬🇧  Last Saturday, we celebrated the end of the school year with another fantastic HAPPY SATURDAY!!!

It was a marvelous day, filled with special moments that will stay with us as cherished memories. The day was packed with various performances, showcasing the talents of 14 different countries, and a wide array of activities spread across multiple spaces.

The football tournament was a resounding success! Everyone had a blast. We had 87 registered children, and even those who showed up unregistered got the chance to join in the fun. One of the main objectives of this initiative was to bring together children from different campuses, particularly to integrate the Grade 4 students who will be moving to Alfragide. We received support from the PaRK PE Team during the organisation process, and on the day itself, Escolinha do Sporting provided vital assistance in managing substitutions to ensure that everyone felt included in the game.

For us, parent organizers, it was an incredibly rewarding challenge.

A big thank you to all who attended, and a VERY SPECIAL thanks to those who actively participated or volunteered on the day. Each and every one of us who was there played a part in making the event a success. And of course, we must not forget the invaluable support provided by the school in organizing this event. Thank you very much!

🇵🇹  No passado sábado, celebrámos o final do ano letivo com mais um fantástico HAPPY SATURDAY!

Foi um dia fantástico, cheio de momentos especiais que ficarão nas nossas memórias, desde as várias atuações que preencheram o dia, à representação de 14 países que deram o melhor de si, e às várias atividades espalhadas pelos diferentes espaços.

O torneio de futebol foi um sucesso - todos se divertiram. Tivemos 87 crianças inscritas e mesmo os que apareceram sem inscrição também tiveram oportunidade de jogar. Um dos objetivos desta iniciativa foi misturar as crianças dos vários campus, em particular integrar as do Grade 4 que transitam agora para Alfragide. Na organização, contámos com o apoio da Equipa de PE do PaRK e, no dia, o apoio da Escolinha do Sporting foi fundamental para gerir as substituições para que todos sentissem que jogaram.

Para nós, pais organizadores, foi um desafio muito interessante.

Muito obrigado a todos que vieram e um agradecimento MUITO ESPECIAL a quem participou, quer de forma ativa, quer como voluntário no próprio dia. Cada um de nós que esteve no dia foi responsável pelo sucesso do evento. Não esquecendo, claro, o apoio essencial que a escola nos deu na organização deste evento. Muito obrigada!
