🇬🇧 The Cup of Coffee with the PPA was very interesting!

The first Cup of Coffee with the PPA 2026, held last Wednesday at the Senior School Lounge (Bar) on the Alfragide campus, was both engaging and inspiring, with a wide range of topics sparking lively conversation around the table.

We discussed the new PaRK Internship Programme, an exciting opportunity for Grade 11 students to gain real-world work experience. PaRK families are invited to host students in their businesses for one week, giving them a firsthand look at professional life. Other topics included job fairs, universities, Portuguese Conversation sessions, ELS Year 5 teacher, Senior School Maths teachers, and also chill & fun conversations.

It was wonderful to reconnect with familiar faces and to meet new PaRK parents. And finally… this time we remembered to take photos.

🇵🇹 O Café com a PPA foi muito interessante!

O primeiro Cup of Coffee com a PPA de 2026, realizou-se na passada quarta-feira no Senior School Lounge (Bar) no campus de Alfragide, e foi bem interessante, com diversos temas a gerar conversas animadas à volta da mesa.

Falámos sobre o novo Programa de Estágios PaRK, uma excelente oportunidade para os alunos do 11.º ano adquirirem experiência profissional em contexto real. As famílias do PaRK também podem acolher alunos nas suas empresas durante uma semana, proporcionando-lhes um contacto direto com o mundo do trabalho. Outros temas abordados incluíram feiras de emprego, universidades, sessões de Conversação em Português, a professora de uma das salas se 5 anos da ELS, professores de Matemática da Senior School, bem como conversas descontraídas e divertidas.

Foi ótimo reencontrar caras conhecidas e conhecer novos pais PaRK. E, por fim… desta vez lembrámo-nos de tirar fotografias!
