🇬🇧 Portuguese Conversation Classes wrap up!

One of our Portuguese Conversation Classes ended the year on a high note with a lovely lunch shared between our dedicated volunteer teachers, Sandrina and Deborah, and their students. They chose a beautiful restaurant nestled in a nearby garden, where they enjoyed delicious food and great conversation surrounded by nature.

Looking at this group of parents now — confident, connected, and relaxed — it's truly rewarding to compare them with the individuals who first joined the classes. The progress they've made, not only in language but in building friendships and community, is a wonderful reflection of the spirit behind these classes.

🇵🇹 Aulas de Conversação em Português – final de ano!

As nossas Aulas de Conversação em Português terminaram o ano da melhor forma, com um almoço muito especial entre as nossas dedicadas professoras voluntárias, Sandrina e Deborah, e os seus alunos. O local escolhido foi um restaurante situado num jardim próximo, onde puderam desfrutar de uma refeição deliciosa e de boas conversas, no meio da natureza.

É realmente gratificante olhar para este grupo de pais agora — confiantes, descontraídos e entrosados — e compará-los com aqueles que, no início do ano, chegaram individualmente e com alguma timidez. O progresso que fizeram, não só na língua como também nas relações que criaram, é um belo reflexo do espírito destas aulas. 

Um enorme obrigado à Sandrina e à Deborah – e também à Glória, à Maria Inês e ao Nuno – pela generosidade e entusiasmo ao longo do ano!
