🇬🇧  PaRK Xmas Market '25 was charming!

Our 2nd Christmas Market was charming! A market full of local vendors, artisans with products of outstanding quality, PaRK IS parents showcasing their businesses, and even entrepreneurial students trying out their business ideas.

It was an excellent opportunity to do some Christmas shopping and to socialise while enjoying the treats prepared by the Grade 11 students. The family photo in a festive Christmas setting added a special touch, and the Arts & Crafts and Face Painting area for our youngest visitors was a huge success!

All vendors contributed with 5% of proceeds to be donated to Fundação Osório de Castro that supports the pediatric cancer investigation.

Finally, a special thank you to the Prefects and the Grade 11 students for their enthusiastic participation on the day, as well as for their dedication during the preparations on the previous evening and the tidy-up at the end of the event. A heartfelt thanks also to the PPA Volunteers for their contribution, and to the school staff, whose professionalism ensured everything ran smoothly and helped resolve any unforeseen issues. Together, we make beautiful things happen!

O nosso 2º Mercado de Natal foi encantador! Um mercado repleto de vendedores locais, artesãos com produtos de enorme qualidade, pais do PaRK IS com os seus negócios e até de alunos empreendedores a dar asas às suas ideias.

Foi uma excelente oportunidade para fazer as compras de Natal e conviver saboreando as iguarias preparadas pelos alunos do Grade 11. A fotografia de família num cenário natalício deu um toque especial e a zona de Arts & Crafts e Face Painting para os nossos visitantes mais novos foi um mega sucesso!

Todos os vendedores contribuíam com 5% das suas vendas para doar à Fundação Osório de Castro que apoia a investigação do cancro pediátrico.

Por fim, um agradecimento especial aos Prefects e aos alunos do Grade 11 pela participação entusiástica no dia, bem como pelo empenho nas preparações da véspera e na arrumação ao final do dia. Um agradecimento também aos PPA Volunteers que contribuíram e ao staff da escola, cujo profissionalismo garantiu o bom funcionamento e permitiu resolver os imprevistos. Juntos fazemos acontecer coisas bonitas!
