Every thriving school community has a secret ingredient: dedicated parent volunteers. At PaRK, Year Coordinators are ambassadors for each grade that play a vital role in building bridges, fostering communication, and making every family feel welcome.
Their work often happens behind the scenes, but its impact is felt by students, parents, and staff alike. This month, we recognize their invaluable contributions and invite more parents to join this rewarding effort – read here.
If you've ever considered getting involved, now is the perfect time because new Year Coordinator roles are expanding to the Junior School, Early Learning, and additional locations (e.g., Restelo and Praça da Espanha).

Todas as comunidades escolares bem-sucedidas têm um ingrediente secreto: pais voluntários dedicados. No PaRK, os Year Coordinators são embaixadores de cada ano letivo e desempenham um papel fundamental na construção de pontes, promoção da comunicação e acolhimento de todas as famÃlias.
O seu trabalho acontece muitas vezes nos bastidores, mas o seu impacto é sentido por alunos, pais e colaboradores. Este mês, reconhecemos as suas contribuições inestimáveis e convidamos mais pais a juntarem-se a este projeto tão gratificante – leia aqui.
Se alguma vez pensou em envolver-se, este é o momento ideal. Os cargos de Year Coordinator estão agora a expandir-se também para a Junior School, Early Learning e aos outros colégios (Restelo e Praça de Espanha).
🇬🇧 2nd Hand Uniforms Team | A Call to Action
The number of uniform donations and sales has grown significantly over the past year — which is a fantastic sign! But at the moment, our small team of volunteer mums can no longer keep up with everything that needs to be done:
- Collect donated uniforms from each campus
- Sort and organise the items, and register stock on the online shop
- Process orders, select the correct pieces, and update the stock
- Pack and deliver to the respective campus
If this sounds like something for you, and you can spare two hours a week join us and give a hand in this mission that supports so many families and promotes sustainability in our school community. We're counting on you!
When there are many of us, it really doesn't feel like much — and we even have fun while helping!
🇵🇹 Equipa de Uniformes em 2ª Mão | Um convite à participação
O volume de donativos e vendas de uniformes usados cresceu muito no último ano, e neste momento, a nossa miniequipa de mães voluntárias já não chega para tudo o que é preciso fazer:
- Ir buscar os uniformes doados a cada campus
- Fazer a triagem das peças e registar o stock na loja online
- Receber encomendas, selecionar os artigos e atualizar o stock
- Embalar e entregar no respetivo campus
Se te vês a fazer isto e tens duas horas por semana, junta-te a nós e dá uma mãozinha nesta missão que apoia tantas famÃlias, e promove a sustentabilidade na nossa comunidade escolar. Contamos contigo!
