We're getting ready for our first outing of the school year, so save the date!

  • Tour Description: At around 9 am on 1 November 1755, Lisbon shuddered with a deafening roar. It was the sound of destruction. A powerful earthquake, followed by a tsunami and a devastating fire, destroyed much of the capital. It is no exaggeration to speak of a Lisbon before and after that day. On this tour, you will visit some of the buildings that survived the devastation and travel between a vanished Lisbon and a reborn city, shaped according to a new order.
  • Limited to 20 pax

While the weather is sunny, we'll be taking a walking tour through Lisbon's historic centre - guided by Ana from Culture in Translation, a PaRK mum -, discovering the city's stories and hidden gems along the way. More details coming soon, keep an eye at PPA Outings group on WhatsApp and join us!

  • Descrição do passeio: Por volta das 9h do dia 1 de novembro de 1755, Lisboa estremeceu com um rugido ensurdecedor. Era o som da destruição. Um poderoso terramoto, seguido de um tsunami e de um devastador incêndio, destruiu grande parte da capital. Não é exagero falar de uma Lisboa antes e depois desse dia. Neste passeio, irá visitar alguns dos edifícios que sobreviveram à devastação e viajar entre uma Lisboa desaparecida e uma cidade renascida, moldada segundo uma nova ordem.
