Just like last year, PPA would like to celebrate the end of one more school year with the community of all 3 PaRK IS Campuses. This is a great opportunity to join students and families, and celebrate the end of the year with a demonstration of the diversity of cultures present in the school. We would be very glad if you were to join us in making this event a success.

We count on your enthusiasm and participation to make this day fantastic!

10.30 - 11.30 - Taekwondo [Tigers, Kids, Fit box] - children of 3 years until grade 10

11.00 - 12-30 - Gymboree - children of 2 and 3 years

11.00 - 12.30 - Escolinha do Figo Football - children from 3 to 5 years

11.30 - 14.00 - Basketball - children grades 1 to 11

12.30 - 13.30 - Percussion Workshop - parents and children

14.00 - 16.00 - Inventors - parents and children

14.00 - 16.00 - Chess - parents and children

14.00 - 14.30 - Angolan Dances (show)

14.30 - 16.00 - Volleyball - children grades 1 to 11

Football Tournament
-Students from all 3 campuses, grades 3 to 6

-from 11:00am to 1:00pm

You can sign up here. Signups are limited, so the first to register will have priority. Don't be late!

Treasure Hunt

Travel through the many countries, where visitors answer questions to gain points for their Houses (Armstrong; Cousteau; Hillary and Vasco da Gama). Only the correct answers will give you points!

Solidarity

Profits from the event will go to the CUIDAR Association.

This association was born with a simple but fundamental objective for the future of Serra da Estrela - to win back the forest lost to fires during many years, and ensure we can end the scourge of fires that has destroyed Serra da Estrela.

For a strong and anti-fire forest, we want to focus on a three pillar strategy:

1- rebuild and plant a new forest

2- take care and maintain the new forest

3- clean and protect the existing forest

Serra da Estrela isn't just Portugal's tallest mountain range. It is the most important natural park in our country, a place with unique biodiversity, and dazzling, breathtaking landscapes.

It's time for Estrela to recover, to plant the seeds of hope for a greener, more beautiful and fire free future.

This project is not mine, nor my children's… it is yours, of your children, and of our future!

Tomorrow may already be too late, we must act and take care (CUIDAR) today. Help us in helping and taking care of our planet! We may not be able to change the whole world, but we can change hectare by hectare!

Tal como no ano passado, a PPA gostaria de celebrar o final de mais um ano letivo com toda a comunidade dos 3 campus do PaRK IS. Esta é uma ótima oportunidade para juntar alunos e famílias e celebrar o final do ano com uma demonstração da diversidade de culturas que temos no colégio. Ficaríamos muito felizes se se juntassem a nós para tornar este evento um sucesso.

O lucro do evento reverte a favor da Associação CUIDAR.

Esta associação nasce com um objetivo simples mas fundamental para o futuro do território da Serra da Estrela - recuperar a floresta perdida para o fogo durante tantos e tantos anos e garantir que acabamos com o flagelo dos incêndios que têm destruído a Serra da Estrela.

Para um floresta forte e anti-fogo, queremos apostar num estratégia assente em três pilares:

1- reconstruir e plantar uma nova floresta

2 - cuidar e manter a nova floresta

3 - limpar e proteger a floresta existente

A Serra da Estrela não é apenas a serra mais alta de Portugal. É o mais importante parque natural no nosso país, um lugar com uma biodiversidade única, com as paisagens mais deslumbrantes e arrebatadoras.

É hora de recuperar a Estrela, de semear a esperança num futuro mais verde, mais bonito e sem fogo.

Este projeto não é meu, não é dos meus filhos... é teu, dos teus filhos e do nosso futuro!

Amanhã já pode ser tarde, temos de atuar e CUIDAR já hoje. Ajude-nos a ajudar e a CUIDAR do nosso planeta! Podemos não conseguir mudar o mundo todo, mas podemos mudar hectare em hectare!
