🇬🇧  PaRK Summer Fair '26 Brings Our Community Together for a Day to Remember!

The PaRK Summer Fair '26 was a wonderful celebration of community, learning, culture, and fun, bringing together students, families, staff, and friends in support of Water for Life Project.

The campus buzzed with excitement. Families explored the vibrant International Fair, where our community proudly showcased traditions, cultures, and flavours from around the world. The International booths and food stalls were a fantastic success, creating a lively atmosphere and giving everyone the opportunity to discover something new while celebrating the diversity that makes our school so special.
Throughout the day, children enjoyed an incredible range of activities. The playgrounds and patios were filled with children taking part in water games, arts and crafts, face painting, inflatable, ball pit, hula dancing, World Cup Stickers Swap, surf and skate activities, mini tennis, Science4you experiments, and art exhibition.

One of the highlights of the event was the Science Fair under the theme Water for Life. Students demonstrated curiosity and scientific thinking through a variety of activities and experiments. The exhibition attracted interest from both students and parents, who enthusiastically engaged with the projects and learned more about the importance of access to clean water around the world.

Parents also enjoyed extracurricular showcases from their children, like football tournament, gymnastics gala, and a wonderful Summer Concert presented by the PaRK Music Academy. These performances and demonstrations highlighted the talent, dedication, and enthusiasm of our students.

A particularly memorable moment came with the vibrant performance by Folclor Colombia. Their colourful costumes, energetic dancing, and joyful celebration of Colombian culture captivated the audience and brought a wonderful festive atmosphere to the event.

Alongside the entertainment, the Silent Auction and Student Art Work Display and Sale helped raise funds for the Water for Life Project. Thanks to the generosity of our community, we're supporting the construction of clean water wells in Tabanca Dana, Guinea-Bissau, helping to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. 🇵🇹  PaRK Summer Fair '26 reuniu a nossa comunidade num dia inesquecível!

A PaRK Summer Fair '26 foi uma excelente celebração do espírito de comunidade, da aprendizagem, da cultura e da diversão, reunindo alunos, famílias, colaboradores e amigos em apoio ao projeto Water for Life.

O campus de Alfragide vibrou de entusiasmo e animação. As famílias exploraram a colorida International Fair, onde a nossa comunidade apresentou com orgulho as tradições, culturas e sabores de várias partes do mundo. as bancas internacionais e as bancas de comida foram um enorme sucesso, criando um ambiente dinâmico e proporcionando a todos a oportunidade de descobrir algo novo, enquanto celebravam a diversidade que torna a nossa escola tão especial.

Ao longo do dia, as crianças desfrutaram de uma grande variedade de atividades. Os recreios e pátios encheram-se de jogos de água, atividades de artes e trabalhos manuais, pinturas faciais, insufláveis, piscina de bolas, hula dance, troca de cromos do Mundial, atividades de surf e skate, mini ténis, experiências Science4you e uma exposição de arte.

Um dos grandes destaques do evento foi a Feira de Ciência sob o tema Water for Life. Os alunos demonstraram curiosidade e pensamento científico através de diversas atividades e experiências. A exposição despertou grande interesse entre alunos e pais, que participaram com entusiasmo e aprofundaram o seu conhecimento sobre a importância do acesso à água potável em todo o mundo.

Os pais puderam ainda assistir a apresentações das atividades extracurriculares dos filhos, como o torneio de futebol, a gala de ginástica e o maravilhoso Concerto de Verão da PaRK Music Academy. Estas atuações e demonstrações evidenciaram o talento, a dedicação e o entusiasmo dos nossos alunos.

Um momento particularmente animado foi a atuação do Folclor Colombia. Os seus trajes coloridos, a energia da dança e a celebração da cultura colombiana encantaram o público e trouxeram um ambiente festivo.

Além das atividades de entretenimento, o Leilão e a exposição e venda de obras de Arte dos alunos contribuíram para a angariação de fundos para o projeto Water for Life. Graças à generosidade da nossa comunidade, estamos a apoiar a construção de poços de água potável em Tabanca Dana, na Guiné-Bissau, ajudando a fazer uma diferença significativa na vida de muitas pessoas.
