🇬🇧  Welcome to the Parents' Year Groups!

The Year Groups are for each Grade parents at PaRK IS — regardless of class — to share school-related topics. As many of the challenges and experiences we face are common, a single Year Group chat helps simplify communication, avoid repetition, and make it easier to support one another — especially new families joining the school.

Each group is designed to grow with our children all the way to Grade 12 🎓, so whose continuing at PaRK IS, doesn't have to leave the group at the end of the academic year.

💬 COMMUNICATION GUIDELINES: Take a moment to read the group rules. Every group has a Year Coordinator who helps facilitate communication and supports parents when needed.

NEW TO THE GROUP? Please introduce yourself and take a few minutes to read the PPA Welcome Kit. Please read the PaRK IS Welcome HUB where you'll find all relevant information (including Calendar, First Days and Meetings, Materials, Uniforms, Extracurriculars). And revisit whenever needed:

STAY UPDATED! During the school year, don't forget to read the WEEKLY NEWSLETTER (Key Notices are very important). Stay updated with the PaRK Parents Association (PPA) by reading the PPA section in the week section in the weekly Newsletter and by exploring the PPA website:

GRADE 12 GROUP (SENIORS): Congratulations to all our Graduating students on their academic achievements. As they now embark on their next adventure, whether heading off to university, taking a gap year, or following another path, we wish them every success and hope they continue to dream big and make the most of every opportunity that comes their way! 🎓 To all the parents, you are very welcome to remain in the Year Group and keep in touch with one another. As the students move on from PaRK, this group will be soon removed from the PPA Community, but it will continue as an independent group for as long as you wish to keep it going.

🇵🇹 Bem vindos aos Year Groups para os pais!

Os Grupos de Ano destinam-se aos pais de cada Grade da PaRK IS — independentemente da turma — para partilharem assuntos relacionados com a escola. Como muitos dos desafios e experiências que enfrentamos são comuns, um único grupo por Ano de Escolaridade ajuda a simplificar a comunicação, evitar repetições e facilitar o apoio mútuo — especialmente às novas famílias que se juntam à escola.

Cada grupo foi criado para acompanhar o crescimento dos nossos filhos até ao Grade 12 🎓 . Assim, quem continuar na PaRK IS não precisa de sair do grupo no final de cada ano letivo.

💬 ORIENTAÇÕES DE COMUNICAÇÃO: Tire um minuto para ler as regras dos grupos. Existe um Year Coordinator que ajuda a facilitar a comunicação e apoia os pais sempre que necessário.

É NOVO NO GRUPO? Por favor, dedique alguns minutos a ler o Kit de Boas-Vindas da PPA. Consulte também o Welcome HUB da PaRK IS, onde encontrará toda a informação relevante (incluindo Calendário, Primeiros Dias e Reuniões, Materiais, Uniformes e Atividades Extracurriculares). Pode voltar a consultá-lo sempre que necessário.

GRUPO DO GRADE 12 (FINALISTAS): Parabéns a todos os nossos alunos finalistas pelas suas conquistas académicas. Agora que iniciam uma nova etapa, quer sigam para a universidade, façam um ano sabático ou escolham outro caminho, desejamos-lhes muito sucesso e esperamos que continuem a sonhar alto e a aproveitar ao máximo todas as oportunidades que surgirem no seu caminho! 🎓  A todos os pais, são muito bem-vindos a permanecer no Grupo de Ano e a manter o contacto uns com os outros.
